Loft Extension
Loft extensions can have huge temperature drifts in summer and winter, we were asked to provide a solution for a period house in Devon, we offered a Toshiba Ras16 5KW this gave the owner of this beautiful property the new-style high-wall unit that enhances any interior and improves the indoor air quality thanks to the triple action air filtering system. One outdoor unit can serve up to four high-wall units, increasing the flexibility of the system. We were asked to keep the outdoor unit as quiet and discreet as possible – the Toshiba RAS 5KW has one of the smallest footprints and decibel levels. A perfect solution for a loft.

Conservatory
As anyone with a conservatory will know they can be very uncomfortable without heating or cooling, because we had carried out installations to a friend and 2 neighbours, the owners called us in to help them to get more use out of their extra room (conservatory) this was quite a large area so we advised a slightly larger unit than normal we recommended a 7KW Fujitsu Wall Split. This was the perfect solution for this conservatory Heat & Cool all year around. Now it is a well used comfortable room.

Dental Complex at Exeter Airport
Dental surgeries have lots of equipment and require good systems at a budget as with all business. We were asked to provide a solution for a brand new dental complex at Exeter Airport. The criteria was we must keep to the budget must be a well known brand and reliable. We came up with a Fujitsu solution, 1 outdoor unit running 2 x indoor cassettes with the second running 4 indoor cassettes. There wasn’t a lot of room to play with but we managed 6 rooms all with their own controls for a budget of £8500 fully installed.

Invisible Installation Criteria.
This was a project where the constraints were – no hi-visible indoor units everything indoor needed to be hidden away but cooling and heating was paramount – we were also told that the unit had to be turned on or off via the internet or mobile phone. This was achieved by using a small duct central air conditioning, heating and ventilation system; this is a modular system where air handlers and coils can be installed in ceilings, floors, crawl spaces and cupboards. This had to be completed at various stages so the project ran over 4 months with fixes at different stages of the build.

Office Complex
Fujitsu 3 system solution for an office complex. The problem here was that the area to be cooled and heated was a large open area comprising stores on the ground floor with the officers above on mezzanine levels. The criteria were that the outdoor units had to be kept at low level with the pipe work being kept as discreet as possible.

Conservatory Heating and Cooling
Conservatory this customer had a similar problem room not being fully utilized and couldn’t have the radiator system extended into the conservatory for heating we were asked to supply a small unit and to ensured it was economical to run – this unit is A/A rated so uses very little electricity for the amount of heat output and unlike the radiator system it cools as well.

Machine Room Complex Used 24/7
This was part of an 11 room project with individual climate control for all departments. The main ground floor is a machine work shop that is in constant use 24/7 when in full production. To achieve the required temperature we used 4 huge indoor blowers this keeps the factory floor within the tolerant temperatures allowed. The upstairs is split into 5 rooms all air conditioned and individually controlled.

School IT Department
This was a specified Daikin solution for a school IT department. Very high Health and Safety procedures had to be followed in conjunction with the site procedures. Extra equipment had to be installed in the class rooms to allow the system to be controlled by the schools computer systems i.e. no hand controls. This is an eco friendly school built to use the best of eco friendly build controls available today.
